SOLENOID OPERATED ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKES

We also manufacture special type of EM Brakes fitted with Epoxy Moulded Brake Coils, suitable for continuous rating. Life span of Epoxy Moulded Coils is Double than Ordinary Coils.

Construction: Base and side Arms are of high grade C.I. accurately machined and drilled. Electromagnet is of high-grade low magnetic steel laminations accurately engrossed and machined. The plunger is fitted with Brass Guides, to avoid chattering.

Technical Characteristics:
Supply : 400/440 V AC, 2 Phase, 50 c/s.
Switching Operations: 240 per Hour, Ambient Temperature: 50˚C.
Coil Insulation : Class ‘B’ Solenoid Stroke: Min 16mm Max 21mm.
Braking Rating : 50% – Coil in circuit not more than 5 minutes in 10 minutes.
                           100% – coil in circuit continuously.
Torque Rating for Electromagnetic Brakes:

Note: Stroke / Breaking Torque can be maintained as per user’s requirement.
