‘TSS’ Manufactures one of the most comprehensive ranges of gear Couplings for torque transmission. The standard design comprises two identical externally geared hubs, keyed to the driving and driven shafts respectively. These hubs have generated teeth meshing into the parallel inner teeth of the external housing. The meshing gear teeth make contact through a semi fluid environment. These hubs can compensate for parallel, angular and axial misalignments, due to their high quality tooth flanks machined on precision gear cutting machines. The positive lubrication for the couplings is assured due to action of centrifugal force on the oil, created by the speed of rotating coupling. Couplings are hardened from 180 BHN to 220 BHN depending on the size, and are available in two types, Full Gear Couplings (Both side Geared) and Half Rigid, half Gear Couplings (One Side Geared), and are supplied with pilot bore.
