The Spring Operated Cable Reeling Drums are used where cable is winded on the drum for supplying power to the moving machinery, like EOT Cranes, where the cable reeling drum is fixed on the gantry / girder and the cable is connected for supplying power to the crane. When the crane is moving it will pull the cable in the reverse direction the cable will be automatically winded on the drum due to spring action. The springs are made from high-grade spring steel. The cable drums are fitted with anti-friction type bearings. The sliprings are provided with suitable grade carbon brushes. The Cable Reeling Drum is normally wounded in clockwise direction.

The Motorized Cable Reeling Drums are suitable for handling length of Cables in excess of those, which cannot be managed by a spring operated Cable Reeling drums.
